The Shroud of Turin is a burial cloth that holds the impression of Jesus Christ's body, both front and back. This shroud is one of the few relics of Jesus Christ that reminds us of His human nature. He lived, suffered and died in a human way for our salvation.
This print is based on a charcoal study of the Shroud of Turin, originally done on unprimed canvas. This interpretation of the Shroud includes Jesus looking at us, inviting us to unite our sufferings with His and to remember His humanity, divinity and mercy. We are never too far from Him.
